Do a favour to your body: drink green juice!
By drinking 1 to 3 glasses of green juice daily, the body is being hydrated and cleansed.
Juicing removes the fiber from fruits and vegetables. Although fiber is essential for our health, it also pushes food quickly through our digestive system.
A study from San Diego State University showed that fiber inhibits the absorption of important nutrients such as beta-carotene. Green juice is free from fiber, so more nutrients are absorbed from juice than from whole fruits and vegetables [1].
For cleansing and maximal absorption, drink green juice on an empty stomach.
These are few ingredients for your green juice:
cucumber
kale
romaine lettuce
celery
broccoli stems
lemon
green apple
For added flavour:
mint
parsley
ginger
