Meditation, One With All Beings

One With All Beings

Sit comfortably in a chair or on the floor with your back straight.

Slowly breathe into your lower abdomen; feel your belly rising.

Slowly breathe out; feel your belly going in.

Repeat this breathing in and out 20 times.

Now relax your breathing and go back to soft breathing.

With each breath in, breathe in love.

With each breath out, breathe out compassion.

On your out-breath, imagine that the outline of your physical body is blending with your surroundings. You become one with all beings.

Continue to breathe in love and breathe out compassion.

Finish your meditation with 3 deep breaths: in through your nose and out through your mouth.

This meditation practice, One With All Beings, removes the physical boundaries between ourselves and plants, animals, and other humans.

“Your task is not to seek love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”
Rumi
